Alyx has been cutting my hair for three years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She creates a really safe and comfortable space, and works with you to get you what you want. She did my first gender affirming “queer cut” and it was everything I hoped for, and I’ve been really happy with every cut through all the iterations since! Couldn’t recommend more highly (bonus cats too).

So so friendly and lovely and welcoming! I was super nervous since I've had bad experiences at other places but Alyx listened to everything I asked for and gave me exactly what I wanted! I swear my hair never looked so good.

Before meeting Alyx, I had no confidence in my curls or my ability to take care of them. They were often frizzy and wild, and would remain up in a bun/claw clip most of the time.
